Candidate Kang Hoon-sik of the Democratic Party of Korea succeeded in winning a third term in the Asan constituency of Chungnam.
According to the Central Election Commission on the 11th, Candidate Kang secured 58,932 votes, confirming his victory with a margin of 20,216 votes over Jeon Man-kwon of the People Power Party.
Candidate Kang said, "Please entrust me with the heavy burden," adding, "I will set the Republic of Korea, which is in crisis, on the right path and make Asan the center of Chungnam."
