Jungnang-gu Signs Business Agreement with Save the Children to Promote Children's Rights
Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi) signed a business agreement with Save the Children Central Region 1 Headquarters on the 2nd of this month to promote children's rights.
The agreement includes goals such as creating a happy growth environment for children, operating the Jungnang-gu Child Policy Participation Group, supporting education and content on children's rights and positive parenting within the region, and establishing a mutual cooperation system through proposing and operating other projects to promote children's rights.
Going forward, the district and Save the Children plan to collaborate and operate various programs that encourage active and practical participation of children in policy activities.
Ryu Kyung-gi, Mayor of Jungnang-gu, stated, "I hope this agreement will enable children to participate more actively as rights holders in the local community," and added, "We will continue to strive to discover child-friendly policies and create a child-friendly city to ensure that children are respected and can grow up healthy and happy."
