Busan Southern Office of Education Operates the 'Nambu Culture and Arts Network'
19 Organizations and Institutions Operating 173 Programs
Busan Southern Office of Education (Superintendent Park Gwija) announced on the 2nd that it will operate the 'Southern Culture and Arts Network' for elementary school students from grades 1 to 6 starting in April.
The Southern Culture and Arts Network is operated through collaboration among 19 local institutions and organizations, including the Busan Southern Office of Education, Busan Museum, Busan National Gugak Center, and Busan Citizen Media Center, to revitalize school culture and arts education.
This network has prepared 173 cultural and arts programs aimed at fostering students' artistic sensitivity and harmonious character.
This year, 48,786 students from 58 elementary schools (2,202 class sessions) will experience various cultural and artistic activities at their schools or the respective institutions.
