MINI, Electric MINI Cooper Pre-Reservation... Starting from 52 Million KRW
MINI Korea announced that pre-orders for the 4th generation fully redesigned 'Electric MINI Cooper' will begin on the 1st at 3 PM through its online shop.
The Electric MINI Cooper is a completely redesigned model introduced 10 years after the launch of the 3rd generation MINI Cooper in 2014. It features a design reflecting minimalism, a leap in digital experience, extended driving range, and the brand’s unique go-kart feeling.
The Electric MINI Cooper maximizes a minimalist sensibility while maintaining the core identity of the MINI brand both inside and out. The exterior features flush-type door handles and a smoothly refined body surface design, giving it a modern impression. At the same time, it preserves MINI’s distinctive body proportions, classic round headlights, octagonal grille, and rear lamps shaped like the Union Jack, inheriting MINI’s unique design heritage.
The interior has evolved into a more simple and sophisticated look. The most notable feature is the central display located in the middle of the dashboard. Developed in collaboration with Samsung Display, the circular OLED display?an industry first in the automotive sector?offers clear and vivid image quality along with rapid responsiveness.
The central display integrates the instrument cluster, navigation, interior climate control, and in-car infotainment functions. Notably, it is equipped with MINI’s latest MINI Operating System 9, enabling use of Korea-specific MINI navigation based on T-map, as well as in-car gaming features, video streaming services, and third-party apps.
The Electric MINI is equipped with an electric motor delivering a maximum output of 218 horsepower and a peak torque of 33.7 kg·m. The expected driving range after a full charge is approximately 290 to 320 km (WLTP standard driving range per charge is 402 km).
It will be launched in two trims, Classic and Favored, with an expected price range of approximately 52 million to 57 million KRW depending on the trim. MINI plans to sequentially release internal combustion engine models alongside pure electric models starting from June.
