Park Seong-yul, head of the Enterprise Business Group, stated, "We will nurture the SOHO business as a new growth business based on LG Uplus's B2B AX solution and aim to achieve cumulative sales of 200 billion KRW."
The Urigage Package AX Solution allows integrated management of various solutions based on AI. The solutions consist of six services: ▲U+AI Call ▲U+AI Reservation ▲U+Waiting ▲U+Kiosk ▲U+Order ▲U+POS. Customer visit data generated from each solution can be collected, managed, and utilized all at once. Another feature is that users can select only the solutions they need according to their store situation.
U+AI Call and U+AI Reservation are AI-based solutions that manage simple inquiries and reservations. The U+AI Call solution is equipped with an AI call bot that automatically answers repetitive questions such as store location and business hours. Small business owners can check the responses handled by the AI call bot through an app.
U+Reservation is a solution that integrates and manages reservations coming through various channels based on factors such as the number of tables and business hours. It also manages reservations received through other systems like phone calls, Naver, and Kakao all at once. An AI service that recommends menus to customers is currently under preparation.
U+Waiting is a solution that helps customers avoid standing in line when they have to wait. Within the first half of the year, a function will be added to link U+AI Call and U+AI Reservation, allowing remote waiting registration without visiting the store. It also supports post-customer management functions such as providing information on nearby attractions to customers waiting or canceling. For customers who cancel their wait, greeting messages and store event notifications can be sent.
U+Kiosk and U+Order (table order service) help store visitors quickly process orders and payments. Since customers operate these two solutions themselves, they reduce order errors and enable immediate payment. U+POS, designed for visitors who prefer face-to-face payment, is installed at the store counter and supports order input, payment, and sales management.
Jung Seung-heon, head of the SOHO business, said, "Although Naver and Kakao also operate services that assist with reservations, we believed that such customer experiences are needed not only online but also offline. Managing all six solutions through a single smartphone or tablet will enable efficient management for small business owners."
LG Uplus has unified A/S requests into a one-stop service. In case of malfunction, customers can call the LG Uplus customer center without needing to contact each product company, and a customized technician will be dispatched according to the symptoms.
To prepare for communication disruptions, a backup system has also been established. Jeon Young-seo, head of the Enterprise Service Development Lab, said, "We have implemented double and triple backup systems using Amazon Web Services (AWS) public cloud. The system is structured to immediately fix and patch issues or customer voice (VOC) occurrences."
