Yeongsangang Regional Environmental Office, Creating an Eco-Friendly Festival Without Single-Use Products
The Yeongsangang River Basin Environmental Office signed a business agreement with Jeonnam Province on the 29th to create an "Eco-friendly Festival Without Disposable Products." From now on, reusable containers will be used instead of disposable products at festivals in 22 cities and counties in Jeonnam.
Until now, disposable products have been used at food booths and other areas for convenience during festivals, generating a large amount of waste. To address this issue, related organizations have joined hands to promote eco-friendly festivals without disposable products.
The Yeongsangang River Basin Environmental Office will cooperate in administrative and financial support measures, while Jeonnam Province plans to make efforts to ensure the smooth operation of local festivals, including the activation of reusable containers.
