The selection details by category are as follows: △Support project for repairing aging common facilities in apartment housing - 16 complexes, 258 million KRW △Support project for electricity bills of streetlights (security lights) in apartment housing - 93 complexes, 96 million KRW △Energy-saving support project for apartment housing - 8 complexes, 42 million KRW △Safety inspection support project for small-scale apartment housing - 9 complexes, 40 million KRW △Exterior wall painting support project for small-scale apartment housing - 20 million KRW △Community revitalization support project - 12 complexes, 58 million KRW △Support project for installing traffic safety facilities within complexes - 2 complexes, 24 million KRW.
Seo-gu received applications from 155 complexes from February 1 to 29 and determined the support targets and amounts through the Seo-gu Apartment Housing Support Review Committee.
The support project for repairing aging common facilities in apartment housing targets aging apartment complexes and supports repairs of common facilities such as senior centers, children's playgrounds, CCTV, bicycle racks, and resident exercise facilities. From 2013 to last year, a total of 175 complexes received 1.65 billion KRW over 11 years.
In particular, the support project for electricity bills of streetlights (security lights) in apartment housing is a key initiative promoted for the first time by Daejeon City under the 8th elected administration. It supports apartment complexes with 10 or more households that receive separate streetlight bills, covering up to 50% of the previous year's streetlight electricity charges.
