Jo Hee-yeon, the three-term Superintendent of Education of Seoul, was found to possess assets worth approximately 1.37 billion KRW.
According to the "2024 Public Officials' Regular Asset Changes" disclosed by the Government Public Officials Ethics Committee on the 28th, Superintendent Jo reported total assets of 1,379,190,000 KRW. This is a decrease of 176,860,000 KRW compared to last year.
Among these, real estate assets accounted for the largest portion at 1,222,000,000 KRW. This included a leasehold right on a detached house owned by him in Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul (180,000,000 KRW), and a multi-family house owned by his spouse in Guro-gu, Seoul (1,042,000,000 KRW).
He owned one car, a 2006 Sonata, valued at 1,700,000 KRW.
