Hwaseong City Hosts 'Blue Hwaseong Protection Environmental Bicycle Parade'
April 20 at Dongtan Central Park... 10km Round-Trip Course
A bicycle riding event for environmental protection will be held on the 20th of next month in Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do.
Hwaseong-si announced on the 26th that it will hold the "15th Blue Hwaseong Environmental Bicycle Parade" on the 20th of next month to promote citizens' health and raise awareness of environmental conservation.
This event is a campaign to reduce carbon dioxide emissions, a major cause of the climate crisis, and to strengthen community awareness for environmental protection by riding bicycles along a 10 km course around Dongtan Central Park. The route starts from Dongtan Central Park and goes through Hanbit Village Intersection, Hanlim University Hospital Intersection, Yedang High School Intersection, Narugyo Intersection, Tanyo Historic Site Park Intersection, Bansong Elementary School Intersection, and returns to the starting point.
The number of participants is limited to the first 1,000 applicants, and anyone aged 8 or older can participate. Participation is free of charge. Those who wish to participate can apply through the "Blue Hwaseong Environmental Parade" website by the 12th of next month.
The event will also feature various environmental protection experience booths and sports experience booths for people with disabilities, along with other side events and activities.
