'Eunpyeong-gu Officetel Murder' 40s Male Suspect Transferred to Prosecutors in Custody
A man in his 40s who was arrested on suspicion of murdering a woman in her 20s at an officetel in Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul, has been handed over to the prosecution.
On the 25th, the Seoul Eunpyeong Police Station announced that they had sent Kim, a man in his 40s suspected of murder, to the Seoul Western District Prosecutors' Office.
Earlier, on the 14th, the police received a report from the family of the victim, Ms. A, and went to her residence at an officetel in Eunpyeong-gu, where they found the deceased victim.
The police identified Kim as a suspect and tracked him down, making an emergency arrest at a comic book cafe in Guro-gu, Seoul, on the 15th. It was reported that Kim and Ms. A had met through internet broadcasting.
