Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, Emphasizes Safety First at the Regular Meeting of the Industrial Safety and Health Committee
Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, attended the '2024 1st Quarter Industrial Safety and Health Committee Regular Meeting' held in the 8th-floor conference room of Mapo District Office on the afternoon of the 25th as the chairman of the Industrial Safety and Health Committee.
The meeting was attended by a total of 18 people, including the chairman, employer representatives, and worker representatives. The agenda included a report on the performance of the second half of 2023 and the review results of the 4th quarter employee feedback, as well as discussions on the 2024 employee safety and health education plan.

Before the meeting, Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, said in his opening remarks, "From this year, the Serious Accident Punishment Act has been expanded to apply to small and medium-sized workplaces with 5 to fewer than 50 employees, making the role of local governments in community safety even more important. Mapo District will continue to conduct regular facility and site inspections to identify and eliminate potential hazards in advance, ensuring safety without any gaps."
