Min Hyung-bae: "The Great Politicians Are the Citizens of Gwangju, I Will Uphold Their Will in Politics"
Opening of Minshim Camp... Over 1,200 Party Members and Supporters Attend in Large Numbers
The election campaign office opening ceremony for Min Hyung-bae, the Democratic Party candidate for Gwangsan-gu (Eul), Gwangju Metropolitan City, was held successfully on the afternoon of the 24th.
At the opening ceremony, candidate Min reaffirmed his determination to judge the prosecutorial dictatorship and win the 22nd general election.
Candidate Min said, “Great politics and great politicians are not made by one individual’s excellence, but by the sovereign citizens,” adding, “The citizens of Gwangju are the great politicians of Gwangju and those who practice great politics. Therefore, I will faithfully carry out the will of the citizens of Gwangju in my political activities.”
He continued, “The first command of the citizens of Gwangju now is to overthrow the Yoon Seok-yeol prosecutorial dictatorship regime,” emphasizing, “I will faithfully follow that command, judge the Yoon Seok-yeol regime, revive people’s livelihoods and democracy, restore diplomacy, and bring peace to inter-Korean relations.”
He added, “Only then will industrial infrastructure be established in Gwangju and opportunities arise.”
About 1,200 party members and supporters attended the opening ceremony to cheer for candidate Min. Democratic Party candidates from all eight constituencies in Gwangju also attended, pledging to unite their efforts for regime judgment and victory in the general election.
Additionally, Shin Jeong-hoon, chairman of the Democratic Party Jeonnam Provincial Party, Kim Won-i (Mokpo), and Park Ji-won, candidate for Haenam, Wando, and Jindo counties in Jeonnam, also attended and offered their congratulations.
