Gyeonggi-do Supports Diagnosis and Repair Costs for Air Pollution Prevention Facilities in SMEs
Gyeonggi Province is launching a support project for ‘Maintenance of Air Pollution Prevention Facilities’ targeting 250 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) within the province to improve air quality and reduce fine dust.
The support targets SMEs with fewer than 50 employees and annual sales of less than 30 billion KRW. Selected companies will receive assistance for performance inspections, management, and repair costs of workplace facilities.
Gyeonggi Province will provide repair and replacement costs for equipment such as hoods, ducts, and blowers based on the diagnosis results of air pollution prevention facilities at the workplaces, along with monthly visits by specialized technical personnel for management. Additionally, broad consulting services on environmental facilities throughout the workplace, including chimney painting and safety railing replacement, will be offered.
Businesses wishing to participate can apply to their respective city or county offices. The support project covers 21 cities and counties within the province, including Suwon, Goyang, and Yongin.
