Gangseo-gu Receives 55 Million KRW in Donations from Korean Air Social Service Group

View original imageGangseo-gu, Seoul (Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon) announced on the 22nd that it received a donation of 55 million KRW from the Korean Air Social Volunteer Group (Chairman Ji Sang-hwi) to help neighbors in need.
The donated funds will be distributed to nine social welfare facilities, including local comprehensive social welfare centers, residential facilities for the disabled, and community child centers, to be used for installing convenience facilities for the disabled and supporting environmental improvements.
This donation was raised through the Korean Air Social Volunteer Group's 'All Employees Walking Donation Campaign' commemorating the company's 55th anniversary. Korean Air, headquartered in Gangseo-gu, has been continuously engaged in social contribution activities such as housing environment improvement projects and goods donations for vulnerable groups.

Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon said, "This donation is especially meaningful as it was prepared with the sincerity of Korean Air employees," adding, "The precious funds will be properly delivered to social welfare facilities that are aging or in need of environmental improvements."
