This Year's First 'Elementary, Middle, and High School Equivalency Exams' in Gyeonggi Region at 23 Institutions on April 6
The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education announced the test locations on the 22nd for the "2024 1st Elementary, Middle, and High School Equivalency Examination" to be held on April 6.
The test locations are ▲8 schools in the Suwon test district ▲5 schools in the Yongin test district ▲4 schools in the Uijeongbu test district ▲3 schools in the Goyang test district ▲3 institutions including juvenile detention centers and prisons.
Examinees must bring their admission ticket and ID card and be seated by 8:30 AM on the test day. For some subjects, examinees may enter up to 10 minutes before the start of the respective subject.
Acceptable forms of ID include resident registration cards, youth IDs, passports containing resident registration numbers, and disability registration cards.
If the resident registration card or youth ID is lost, the "Resident Registration Card or Youth ID Issuance Application Confirmation" received after reissuance application can be used as a temporary ID.
If the admission ticket is lost, examinees must submit their ID and one photo identical to the one attached to the application form to the test headquarters on the test day to receive a reissued admission ticket.
To ensure safety management at the test site on the test day, vehicle access for examinees is restricted, so it is recommended to use public transportation. If it is unavoidable to travel by private car, it is necessary to check nearby parking locations in advance.
The Office of Education will announce the results of the 1st equivalency exam on May 9.

Meanwhile, a total of 9,047 candidates applied for this exam, including ▲916 for elementary school equivalency ▲1,767 for middle school equivalency ▲6,366 for high school equivalency.
