On the 22nd, Business Meeting with Vietnamese Buyers
The Small and Medium Business Corporation (SBC) announced on the 21st that it held the 'Korea-Vietnam SME Summit' in Hanoi, Vietnam, to expand business opportunities among small and medium enterprises and establish cooperative relationships between the two countries.
The event was attended by Kang Seok-jin, Chairman of SBC, Choi Young-sam, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Vietnam, Hoang Minh, Vice Minister of the Vietnamese Ministry of Science and Technology, Pham Hong Quat, Director of the National Agency for Technology Entrepreneurship and Commercialization Development (NATEC) under the Ministry of Science and Technology, as well as over 150 participants including large and small business owners and local investors.

View original imageChairman Kang Seok-jin signed a business agreement with the Korea Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (KOCHAM), the largest Korean economic organization in Vietnam, to jointly support Korean SMEs entering the Vietnamese market, aiming to resolve difficulties faced by companies in the early stages of local entry and strengthen support to minimize trial and error.
As part of the 'Korea-Vietnam SME Summit' on the 22nd, SBC also organized a ‘Business Consultation Meeting’ involving 16 Korean SMEs operating in Vietnam and over 150 local buyers. This consultation meeting is expected to expand opportunities for domestic companies to export products and services and enter the local market by facilitating trade negotiations between domestic companies and local buyers, providing interpretation and negotiation support.
