Fire at Building Near Seoul Station... 1 Dead, 1 Seriously Injured
At around 5:22 PM on the 20th, a fire broke out in a neighborhood living facility near Seoul Station, resulting in one death and one person seriously injured.
According to the Seoul Jungbu Fire Station, the fire on the 3rd floor of a five-story building in Jung-gu, Seoul, caused the death of a man in his 50s who lived at the ignition point.
A man in his 70s, who also lived on the same floor, suffered burns to his face and hands and was transported to a hospital.
The fire caused property damage, burning about half of the 3rd and 4th floors of the building.
Fire authorities, who responded to the report, deployed 29 vehicles and 103 personnel and completely extinguished the fire at around 6:38 PM, about 1 hour and 15 minutes later.

The fire department is investigating the detailed cause of the fire, which is believed to have started inside the room of the deceased's residence.
