Global Strategy Cooperation Institute Holds 'Korea-US-Japan Security Cooperation' Forum with Japan's Keio University

The Global Strategy Cooperation Institute and Keio University’s Center for Contemporary Korean Peninsula Studies in Japan will jointly hold the Global Strategy Cooperation Dialogue Forum on the morning of the 21st at the Ambassador Hotel Namsan Hall in Jangchung-dong, Seoul.
According to the institute on the 20th, the event will be held under the main theme of "The Path of ROK-US-Japan Security Cooperation in the Indo-Pacific Era."
The institute explained, "The significance lies in evaluating the security achievements made by the three countries since Camp David last year, as well as the challenges each faces, and then forecasting and suggesting future development directions."
More than 50 experts and diplomats from 10 countries, including the ROK, the US, and Japan, will participate both online and offline.
At the opening ceremony, there will be an opening address by Hwang Jae-ho, President of the Global Strategy Cooperation Institute; a welcome speech by Nishino Junya, Director of Keio University’s Center for Contemporary Korean Peninsula Studies; congratulatory remarks by Jung Byung-won, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Mibae Daisuke, Chief Japanese Consul General in Korea; and Sakurai Joy Michiko, US Deputy Ambassador to Korea.
Attendees are expected to include Professor Kim Jae-cheon of Sogang University, Professor Park In-hwi of Ewha Womans University, Senior Research Fellow Cha Doo-hyun of the Asan Institute for Policy Studies, Senior Research Fellow Cho Han-beom of the Korea Institute for National Unification, Research Fellow Lee Su-hoon of the Defense Research Institute, and Professor Lee Hong-seop of the Korea National Defense University.
