‘Miss Trot 3’ US Oh Yujin Promotes Jinju City Nationwide
Mayor Jo Gyu-il: "Actively Promote Jinju as the Jewel of Jinju"
On the 19th, Jinju City in Gyeongnam held a celebration at the City Hall Entrepreneurs' Room to congratulate Oh Yujin, Jinju City's ambassador, on winning the title of Mi (Beauty) on TV Chosun's 'Miss Trot 3'.
Appointed as Jinju City's ambassador in March 2021, Oh Yujin gained nationwide recognition for Jinju by winning the Mi title on 'Miss Trot 3'.
At the celebration, attendees including Mayor Jo Gyu-il of Jinju and Ju Gang-hong, head of the Jinju branch of the Korea Federation of Artistic & Cultural Organizations, represented the citizens of Jinju in offering their congratulations.
Mayor Jo said, "Jinju is a jewel among jewels, and Oh Yujin has become a jewel within Jinju," adding, "Please continue to work hard to promote Jinju as a city of artistic excellence."
