Yongin City Recruits Participants for 'Citizen Participation Garden' Creation at Dongbaek Lake Park
Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province is recruiting citizens to participate in the 'Citizen Participation Garden' being created at Dongbaek Lake Park until the 29th.
The Citizen Participation Garden is a space where citizens can create gardens reflecting their individual personalities. The city established such gardens in 2022 and last year at the playground and near Songdamdae Station along the Gyeongan Stream riverside.
As of the announcement date, citizens of Yongin or students and workers affiliated with the city can form teams of about five members, with a representative applying for participation. Selected teams will receive flowers and necessary tools to create one assigned garden. The garden creation event will take place on the 27th of next month, after which citizen gardeners will manage the gardens.
