Donates 100 Million KRW to Alma Mater... Seo Young-ok, CEO of Fine Technology Co., Ltd., to National Pukyong University on Its 100th Anniversary
Seo Young-ok, CEO of Fine Technology Co., Ltd., donated 100 million KRW in development funds to her alma mater, Pukyong National University (President Jang Young-su), on the occasion of its 100th anniversary.
On the morning of the 18th, CEO Seo visited the president's office on the 3rd floor of Pukyong National University and presented the development fund to President Jang Young-su, expressing her support for the university's advancement.
She said, “As an alumna and a local business leader, I am participating in this donation to support the development of my alma mater on this meaningful occasion of its 100th anniversary.”
Seo Young-ok, Chairwoman of Fine Technology, is presenting a development fund of 100 million won to Jang Young-soo, President of Pukyong National University.
View original imageCEO Seo was elected as the first female president of the Pukyong National University Alumni Association in 2015 and served as the 10th president. She has been serving as the 14th president since last year, actively supporting her alma mater. Including this development fund, she has donated a total of 290 million KRW to the university, contributing to its growth.
She added, “I hope that Pukyong National University, which has developed into a leading specialized comprehensive national university in the region, will move toward an even brighter 100 years in the future. I also hope this donation will encourage participation from not only the university community but also the local society for the university’s development.”
This year, marking its 100th anniversary, Pukyong National University is conducting support projects for university development, including the ‘New-Turn 100’ development fund campaign and small donation drives.
