BNK Busan Bank to Launch 'Dongbaekjeon Prepaid Transportation Card' Starting the 18th
Refund Benefits for Customers Aged 18 and Over
Provided for Dongbaek Pass
BNK Busan Bank (President Bang Seong-bin) announced on the 18th the launch of the ‘Dongbaekjeon Prepaid Transportation Card’ to enhance the convenience and activation of ‘Dongbaekjeon’ usage.
The existing Dongbaekjeon postpaid transportation card operated as a credit card system, which restricted issuance to customers with low credit ratings, teenagers, and foreigners, and also made it difficult to use the ‘Dongbaek Pass,’ an integrated public transportation discount system.
Customers using the newly launched ‘Dongbaekjeon Prepaid Transportation Card’ can also receive Dongbaekjeon refund benefits if they use more than 45,000 KRW per month after charging transportation fares.
The card can be issued from the 18th at all Busan Bank branches and through the Dongbaekjeon app for customers aged 19 and older, and transportation card charging is available at subway stations, convenience stores, and through the ‘Eazle Charging Station’ app.
Kim Jin-han, Head of Digital Finance Division at Busan Bank, said, “We hope this Dongbaekjeon Prepaid Transportation Card will help reduce public transportation costs for Busan citizens,” adding, “We will continue to discover projects that directly support everyday life.”
