'Pamy?,' starring Choi Min-sik and Kim Go-eun, is on the verge of reaching the milestone of 10 million cumulative viewers. According to the Korea Film Council's integrated box office data as of the 18th, the film attracted 780,848 viewers over the past weekend (15th?17th) across 1,959 screens (22,736 showings). Although this is a 38.8% (494,355 viewers) decrease compared to the second weekend of this month (8th?10th), which had 1,275,203 viewers, it maintained the top spot at the box office with a similar revenue share of 63.4%. The seat occupancy rate was 22.6%, the highest among films securing more than 10,000 seats.
The cumulative audience count stands at 9,298,452. It reached the 9 million mark three days earlier than last year's highest-grossing film, 'Seoul's Spring' (13,061,005 viewers). Continuing its steady run, it has climbed to 25th place in the all-time Korean film box office rankings.
'Dune: Part 2,' starring Timoth?e Chalamet and Zendaya Coleman, held onto second place. During the same period, it attracted 187,993 viewers across 925 screens (6,617 showings). This is a 35.6% (104,115 viewers) decrease from the second weekend of this month, which had 292,108 viewers. The seat occupancy rate was 19.2%, with a revenue share of 19.0%. Its cumulative audience count is 1,581,230. Another Chalamet-led film, 'Wonka,' drew 46,194 viewers from 480 screens (1,878 showings). Although this is a 42.8% (34,547 viewers) decrease from the second weekend of this month, which had 80,741 viewers, it maintained third place. Its cumulative audience count is 3,466,597, still ranking second in this year's box office.
