Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education Staff Participate in 'Love Blood Donation Campaign'
Participation at least twice a year since the 2014 blood donation agreement signing
Employees of the Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education participated in the "Love Blood Donation Campaign for Stable Blood Supply" together with the Korean Red Cross, practicing the spirit of loving neighbors and sharing life.
According to the Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education on the 17th, this blood donation event was held to establish a culture of blood donation for the stable supply of blood in the local community.
Currently, our region is facing difficulties such as a decrease in blood donors due to demographic changes caused by low birth rates and aging population. Many employees voluntarily participated in blood donation on the blood donation bus set up at the Office of Education, practicing humanitarian life sharing.
Superintendent Lee Jeong-seon said, "I hope this blood donation campaign will help, even a little, in the stable supply and provision of blood," and added, "I deeply thank the employees who voluntarily participated in the blood donation."
He continued, "We will continue to actively practice the spirit of loving neighbors and sharing life by participating in blood donation campaigns."
