E1 Selected as Preferred Negotiation Partner for Sale of Hana Power Package Shares
On the 15th, E1 announced that it had been selected as the preferred bidder in the sale of shares of Hana Power Package, in which it participated as part of a consortium with Calista Capital and Meritz Securities.
Hana Securities holds 100% of the shares of Pyeongtaek Energy Service, Gimcheon Energy Service, and Jeonbuk District Energy, which it acquired from SK E&S in 2014 through the special purpose company (SPC) Hana Power Package.
Last year, Hana Securities appointed the accounting firm Samjong KPMG as its sales advisor and has been proceeding with the sale process for these three regional power plants.
Industry insiders expect the sale price to exceed 1 trillion won.

E1 stated, "We plan to sign the contract after negotiations between the seller Hana Securities and consortium participants, finalizing the share purchase agreement and shareholders' agreement."
