Wemade Chairman Park Kwan-ho Returns to Management as CEO... Jang Hyun-guk Resigns
Wemade held a board meeting on the 14th and announced that following the resignation of former CEO Jang Hyun-guk, founder Park Kwan-ho, chairman of the board, was appointed as the representative director and chairman.
Accordingly, Chairman Park will return to the forefront of management and plans to lead the company as the head of Wemade Group's game and blockchain businesses.
Born in 1971, Chairman Park founded Wemade in February 2000 and led the development and service of the PC online game "Legend of Mir 2," which was a hit in both South Korea and China. Since 2012, he has focused on supporting management as the company owner and chairman of the board.
Chairman Park currently holds a 39.39% stake in Wemade, making him the largest shareholder.

With Chairman Park returning to the forefront of management after 12 years, former CEO Jang, who has led the company since 2014, will remain as vice chairman of Wemade for a while to support Chairman Park's management duties.
