"Health Management with Smartphones"... Seongbuk-gu Recruiting Participants for Senior Health Management Program
Providing Non-Face-to-Face Customized Health Management Services Through an App
Seongbuk-gu, Seoul (Mayor Lee Seung-ro) is recruiting participants on a first-come, first-served basis for a senior health management project utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies. Any senior aged 65 or older residing in Seongbuk-gu who needs chronic disease management and lifestyle improvement can apply.
Participants will be lent Bluetooth activity trackers, scales, blood pressure monitors, and blood glucose meters to provide health management services. Through a smartphone app, personalized remote health management services by public health center experts will be offered for six months.

Bluetooth activity trackers and scales will be lent to all participants, while blood pressure monitors and blood glucose meters will be selectively lent after assessing health risk factors such as blood pressure and blood glucose levels. Devices can be borrowed by applying via phone to the Seongbuk-gu Public Health Center’s Health Management Division.
