Cho Tae-yeol, Egyptian Minister Discuss "Cooperation to Resolve Gaza Situation"
Minister Choukri: "Immediate Ceasefire Essential... Requesting Efforts from Han"
On the 13th, Foreign Minister Cho Tae-yul spoke with Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and stated that South Korea, as a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), will continue to cooperate with the international community to resolve the Gaza Strip situation.
Minister Shoukry emphasized the urgent need for an immediate ceasefire due to the worsening humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip caused by the prolonged Israel-Hamas conflict, and requested that South Korea make constructive efforts to resolve the situation. Minister Cho expressed his agreement with Minister Shoukry's remarks.
