Lee Hye-hoon "People Responsible for People Power Party Extremely Dislike Ha Tae-kyung... Must Accept Primary Election Results"
"Ha Tae-kyung Attacks President... Fails to Gain Support from Party Members"
Ha Tae-kyung, a three-term member of the People Power Party who was eliminated in the primary for Seoul Jung-Seongdong, raised objections to the primary results, prompting former lawmaker Lee Hye-hoon, the primary winner, to criticize him by saying, "You need to study social sciences a bit more."

The day before, Ha raised issues regarding the primary results and demanded the release of the raw data related to the opinion polls. He stated on his Facebook, "In the first round with three competitors, I received 46.01%, Lee Hye-hoon got 29.71%, and Lee Young got 25.90%." He added, "However, in the two-person runoff, I received 50.87%, Lee Hye-hoon got 49.13%, and with a 5% female bonus point, Lee Hye-hoon reached 51.58%, resulting in a final loss by a margin of 0.71%."

He claimed, "These figures are somewhat hard to believe statistically."
In response, Lee said, "This is not a general election but a primary, so the opinion poll targets 20% party members and 80% citizens. The citizens are not the entire population but only People Power Party supporters and moderates." He added, "Since the primary is mainly for those who want to protect the president, those who supported Lee Young find it difficult to vote for Ha Tae-kyung."
He further stated, "If you combine the votes of those who supported Lee Young and me, it exceeds the support for Ha Tae-kyung by more than 10%," and added, "How could you not have thought of that?"

Lee emphasized that Ha should accept the primary results. He also mentioned that he himself had complaints during the primary process but accepted them. He said, "It is said that Ha Tae-kyung received nearly half of the responsible party members' support in the first round, but I simply could not believe that." He bluntly remarked, "To be honest, responsible party members extremely dislike our candidate Ha Tae-kyung."
