In Yeongdeungpo-gu Gap and Eul, Representative Kim Young-joo and candidate Park Yong-chan are running, while in Yangcheon-gu Gap and Eul, lawyer Koo Ja-ryong and former Hannara Party (the predecessor of the People Power Party) candidate Oh Kyung-hoon are contesting.
Chairman Han emphasized the pledge to underground the railway at the rooftop of Yeongdeungpo Station together with Representative Kim and candidate Park. He said, "The harm caused by train stations and railways running through the city center has increased," adding, "Although many promises have been made by everyone in the past, we believe we can put them into practice."
Chairman Han also held a street campaign at Yeongdeungpo Times Square Plaza. Standing on the stage, he said, "We have no partisan logic," and "Our sole goal is to improve the lives and future of citizens." He further explained, "There are many politicians who make promises, but few who fulfill them. I have only sought to achieve something. Improving the lives of Yeongdeungpo citizens right here is what I want to accomplish."
He also revealed the background of Representative Kim’s recruitment. Representative Kim left the Democratic Party in protest after being notified of a bottom 20% evaluation in the nomination process and joined the People Power Party on the 5th. Chairman Han said, "I originally did not know Representative Kim well, but while serving as Minister of Justice, I saw a rational politician beyond party lines. That was Kim Young-joo," adding, "We shared the one common goal of practicing sensible, normal politics that the people would not be ashamed of."

We hope this can be postponed." He also requested an increase in related budgets to establish a culture where elders and children can play together in the market. In response, Chairman Han said, "We are preparing a bill for the central government to directly support local areas under certain conditions," adding, "The main target of this bill will be traditional markets."
