Gwangju University and Gwangju Social Service Institute Sign Business Agreement to Promote Glocal University 30 Initiative
On the afternoon of the 11th, Gwangju University signed a business agreement with the Gwangju Metropolitan City Social Service Agency at the Education Innovation Support Office in the administration building on campus to jointly promote the operation of the Gwangju-type welfare model and Glocal University 30.
On this occasion, the two organizations agreed to actively cooperate in various areas including collaboration for the stable operation of the Gwangju-type welfare model, support and participation in the Glocal University 30 innovation project, exchange of human and material resources between institutions and service linkage cooperation projects, university student social volunteer services for Gwangju care projects, and other efforts to promote friendship and joint development between the two organizations.
Kim Dong-jin, President of Gwangju University, stated, "Through cooperation between the two organizations that practice the spirit of similarity emphasizing publicness, transparency, and ESG management, we will strive to broadly utilize the university’s human and material resources to improve the quality of social services in the region."
