Gwangyang City in Jeollanam-do announced that it will operate a direct transaction market for informatization villages at the 23rd Gwangyang Maehwa Festival, held for 10 days from the 8th to the 17th of this month in the Maehwa Village area of Daap-myeon.
This event was prepared to revitalize the local economy through a direct transaction market that promotes and sells excellent agricultural and specialty products of our region to tourists visiting the Maehwa Festival site.
The direct transaction market is located at the main venue of the Maehwa Festival, and the products sold include various Gwangyang specialties such as ▲ Gorosoe sap (500ml) / 3,000 KRW ▲ Lettuce (3 pieces) / 5,000 KRW ▲ Seomjingang clam soup / 5,000 KRW ▲ Maesil gim bugak / 5,000 KRW ▲ Chrysanthemum flower tea / 10,000 KRW ▲ Milsigotgam / 10,000 KRW ▲ Baegunsan bracken (100g) / 10,000 KRW.
The Gwangyang Maehwa Festival, now in its 23rd year, has introduced an admission fee for the first time since its inception, and the admission fee is fully refunded in the form of festival gift certificates.
The festival gift certificates can be used at festival booths except for street vendors, and are also accepted at the Gwangyang Informatization Village direct transaction market.
