View original imageDigital signage is a digital billboard that can freely display digital content such as videos, images, and text on a screen. Various information, including academic schedules, contests, and employment information, can be broadcast through digital signage. One of its advantages is that it helps improve campus aesthetics and protect the environment by preventing the excessive distribution of posters and flyers.
Chung-Ang University recently completed the installation of the digital signage system "B tv On Ad," which can broadcast digital content throughout the Da Vinci Campus, in collaboration with SK Broadband.
To commemorate this, a music content contest will be held. Under the theme "Express the Da Vinci Campus Freely with My Own Sensibility," current students and alumni of the College of Arts at the Da Vinci Campus are invited to submit music content of around 60 seconds, including an album cover. The submission period is from the 11th to the 21st. Winners will be selected by combining online votes from students and scores from judges. The final awards ceremony will take place on the 26th, with famous YouTuber and Chung-Ang University alumnus "Kim Dax" participating as a final judge.
Eleven winners of the contest will have the opportunity to sign copyright contracts and receive royalties. Four outstanding works will also be awarded certificates of commendation from the president of Chung-Ang University. The selected works will be broadcast throughout the Da Vinci Campus via digital signage.

Kim Tae-sung, head of the Talent Development Center who led the introduction of the digital signage, said, "Through digital signage, various information such as employment, career paths, and academic affairs can be delivered to students more easily. We hope that students will freely showcase their talents through the contest and gain experience taking their first steps into society through copyright contracts."
