Lunit Supplies AI Cancer Diagnosis Solutions to Taiwan and Singapore
Medical AI company Lunit announced on the 11th that it has recently signed contracts to supply cancer diagnosis AI imaging analysis solutions to Taiwan Chung Shan Medical University and a major hospital in Singapore.
First, Taiwan Chung Shan Medical University will be supplied with Lunit Insight CXR, a chest X-ray AI imaging analysis solution. This will support the university's research team’s lung cancer diagnosis research project.
Currently, Taiwan’s national lung cancer screening is limited to high-risk groups such as smokers and those with a family history, and is conducted using low-dose computed tomography (LDCT). The Chung Shan Medical University research team plans to verify how much AI-based chest X-ray screening can expand the screening scope compared to existing methods, while improving cost efficiency and accuracy.
At Gleneagles Hospital, a major hospital in Singapore, Lunit Insight MMG, a mammography AI imaging analysis solution, will be supplied. Gleneagles Hospital is part of the Parkway Pantai Group, the largest hospital group in Southeast Asia. The Parkway Group operates more than 20 medium to large hospitals across Malaysia, Hong Kong, India, China, and other regions.
This contract was made as part of the ICT-based medical system overseas expansion support project conducted by the Korea Health Industry Development Institute under the Ministry of Health and Welfare. Lunit plans to promote supply to other hospitals within the Parkway Group based on this contract.
