[Polpol News] Democratic Party Support Rises by 4.0%P, Rebounds... People Power Party 41.9% vs Democratic Party 43.1%

Support for the Democratic Party of Korea, which had been declining recently, rebounded, putting it ahead of the People Power Party within the margin of error (±3.1 percentage points). President Yoon Suk-yeol's approval rating also slightly decreased but remained in the 40% range.
According to a poll released on the 11th by Realmeter (commissioned by Energy Economy Newspaper, conducted on the 7th-8th among 1,006 nationwide voters aged 18 and older, using 97% wireless and 3% wired automated response), support for the Democratic Party rose by 4.0 percentage points from the previous survey to 43.1%. The People Power Party dropped by 4.8 percentage points to 41.9%. Although within the margin of error, this marks a change in the top two parties' rankings within a week. The Reform New Party remained unchanged at 3.1% from last week.
By region, the Democratic Party showed noticeable increases in Seoul (up 13.9 percentage points, from 31.5% to 45.4%), Gwangju and Jeolla (up 8.6 percentage points, from 62.5% to 71.1%), Daejeon, Sejong, and Chungcheong (up 7.5 percentage points, from 43.9% to 51.4%), and Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam (up 7.0 percentage points, from 27.7% to 34.7%). Conversely, the People Power Party saw declines in Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam (down 12.4 percentage points, from 61.4% to 49.0%), Daejeon, Sejong, and Chungcheong (down 9.8 percentage points, from 44.0% to 34.2%), and Seoul (down 9.4 percentage points, from 48.0% to 38.6%).
President Yoon's approval rating in the national administration evaluation survey (commissioned by Energy Economy Newspaper, conducted from the 4th to the 8th among 2,551 nationwide voters aged 18 and older, using 97% wireless and 3% wired automated response) was 40.2%, down 0.9 percentage points from the previous survey. The disapproval rating rose by 0.7 percentage points to 56.1%.
