'Protecting Street Trees, Citizens Step Up'... Incheon City Recruits Volunteer Street Tree Guardians
Incheon City is recruiting 'Citizen Participation Street Tree Guardians Volunteers' from the 11th to the 22nd.
This initiative involves reporting street tree damage and pest infestations, removing illegal advertisements, and cleaning the green areas along streets, with both the public and private sectors working together to care for street trees. The goal is to realize a sustainable green city through protecting the street tree environment and improving citizen awareness.
Any family, group, or citizen interested in tree management and volunteer activities can apply via email or phone to the respective district or county office.
Only citizens registered on the 1365 Volunteer Portal will have 2 hours of volunteer activity recognized per day. At the end of the year, outstanding individuals and groups in volunteer activities will be selected and awarded the Street Tree Guardian Certificate of Commendation.
