Choi Hogwon, Yeongdeungpo District Mayor, Attends Baseball and Softball Association Safety Prayer Ceremony
Choi Ho-gwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, attended the '2024 Yeongdeungpo-gu Baseball and Softball Association Safety Prayer Ceremony' held on the morning of the 10th at the Yeongdeungpo Yangpyeong Nuri Sports Park Baseball Field and took commemorative photos with the players.
Hosted by the Yeongdeungpo-gu Baseball and Softball Association, about 100 people including association executives, little and junior baseball teams, and amateur baseball club members attended the prayer ceremony to pray together for safety throughout the year.
The district has been steadily working to promote community sports by creating the first baseball field at Yangpyeong Nuri Sports Park to support safe and pleasant sports activities, and by implementing the 'Dream Tree Fostering' project that provides funding for sports equipment purchases for students aspiring to become athletes.
