Dong-A University Selected for K-Move U.S. Overseas Employment Program for 12 Consecutive Years
Operation of 4 Courses with 50 Selected Participants... Training to Continue Until November
Nationwide, the Most Courses and Highest Number of Participants Draw Attention
Dong-A University has been selected for the ‘K-Move U.S. Overseas Employment Project’ organized by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Human Resources Development Service of Korea for 12 consecutive years. This year, it received a total support of about 460 million KRW to operate four courses.

View original imageIn 2024, a total of 151 courses from 62 institutions nationwide were selected for the K-Move project. Dong-A University was selected for all four courses, the highest number nationwide, and also has the largest number of participants.
In the first half of this year, Dong-A University selected 50 participants across four courses: ▲Design Specialist Course ▲Logistics and Trade Specialist Course ▲Technician Specialist Course ▲Business Specialist Course, and will conduct training until the end of November.
Participants will receive approximately 650 hours of English education and job training before being employed by major corporations and local companies located in key U.S. cities such as New York and California.
Since 2013, Dong-A University has been operating the U.S. overseas employment support program for 12 years, receiving a total of over 5 billion KRW in government funding and helping 530 students secure employment in the U.S.
In addition to the K-Move project, Dong-A University has actively implemented support measures to intensively manage those wishing to work overseas and strengthen overseas employment capabilities, achieving the highest number of overseas employment nationwide based on the 2023 university information disclosure.
President Lee Hae-woo said, “As a result of great efforts since operating the overseas employment support project, we have not only been continuously selected as an excellent institution but also achieved the highest number of overseas employment nationwide. We will actively support Dong-A University students to become global talents in the future.”
