Gyeongnam National University Selected for 'Small Business Digital Specialized University' Two Years in a Row

Gyeongnam National University was recently selected as an operating institution for the ‘2024 Small Business Digital Specialized University’ program, hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Small Enterprise and Market Service.
Since 2023, Gyeongnam National University has been running the ‘Small Business Digital Specialized University’ project, providing diverse specialized education necessary for strengthening the digital capabilities of local small business owners and prospective entrepreneurs and for entering the online market.
Through this education, about 100 graduates have been produced, recognizing the university’s capabilities as a digital education-centered institution. With this recent selection, Gyeongnam National University has achieved the distinction of being the only institution in the province to be selected for the project two years in a row.
Until October, Gyeongnam National University will operate the ‘DX Program,’ a mentoring project for small business owners in underserved areas, along with various specialized education programs necessary for strengthening digital capabilities and entering the online market for local small business owners based in Gyeongnam.
First, the digital education will be offered free of charge from May to September, with practical training every Friday including ▲online market entry education for small business owners ▲detailed page creation and live commerce training ▲online commercial district analysis and SNS marketing.
Next, the ‘DX Program’ will provide intensive management by professional mentors to help small business owners in underserved areas enter the market and strengthen their capabilities, offering sales maximization and various solutions.
Additionally, participants will receive diverse support necessary for pioneering online sales channels for small business owners, such as ▲online marketing practice expenses ▲product photography and detailed page creation.

Applications for education will be accepted throughout April, recruiting a total of 100 people for the ‘Online Entry Course’ and the ‘Digital Transformation Advancement Course.’ Registration can be done online (via Naver Form), by phone, or in person.
