[Tomorrow's Weather] Cold Wind Drops Feels-Like Temperature... Nationwide 'Below Freezing Cold'
On Friday the 8th, cold air will descend to the southern part of the Korean Peninsula and strong winds will blow, making the perceived temperature feel colder.
The morning low temperature is forecast to be between -6 and 3 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high temperature between 5 and 12 degrees Celsius, slightly lower than the average (morning low -4 to 4 degrees, daytime high 8 to 12 degrees).

View original imageIn particular, morning temperatures will drop below freezing in most areas nationwide, with inland central regions around -5 degrees Celsius, and the temperature difference between day and night will be around 10 degrees, so caution is needed for health management during the changing seasons.
While the country will be mostly clear, the Jeolla region and Jeju Island will have occasional clouds.
From morning to afternoon, there will be occasional rain or snow in the mountainous areas of Jeju Island. Expected snowfall and precipitation amounts are around 1 cm and 1 mm respectively. Elsewhere in Jeju and the western coast of Jeolla, there may be raindrops less than 0.1 mm or snow flurries less than 0.1 cm.
Fine dust levels will be 'Good' to 'Moderate' nationwide, but the Seoul metropolitan area, Chungcheong region, and North Jeolla are expected to temporarily reach 'Unhealthy' levels in the morning.
In most parts of the country, winds will be strong with gusts reaching 55 to 70 km/h (15 to 20 m/s), and winds will become stronger from morning to afternoon.
From morning, very strong winds of 35 to 60 km/h (10 to 16 m/s) will blow over the East Sea offshore, the outer East Sea of the South Sea, the inner southeastern offshore of Jeju Island, and from afternoon over the West Sea offshore, the inner eastern offshore of the South Sea, and the southern offshore of Jeju Island, causing high waves. Until the afternoon, there may also be gusts accompanied by thunder and lightning over the East Sea.

Wave heights will be 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the near seas of the East and West Seas, and 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the near seas of the South Sea. In the inner offshore areas (about 200 km from the coastline), wave heights are predicted to be 1.5 to 4.0 meters in the East Sea, 1.0 to 3.5 meters in the West Sea, and 1.0 to 3.0 meters in the South Sea.
