Pyeongtaek City Announces Call for Subcontractors for 'Disabled Persons Cultural Arts Promotion Project'
Up to 10 Million KRW Support per Organization
Pyeongtaek City in Gyeonggi Province is publicly recruiting subsidy project operators for the 2024 'Disabled Culture and Arts Promotion Project' until the 21st.
The recruitment fields include ▲ collaboration between disabled and non-disabled art groups ▲ expansion of cultural and artistic enjoyment for the disabled ▲ support for creation and presentation by the disabled, totaling three fields. Cultural and artistic organizations related to the disabled located in Pyeongtaek City are eligible to apply.
This project has been jointly promoted by Gyeonggi Province and the city since 2021 to enhance the cultural and artistic rights of the disabled through cultural and artistic education and collaboration between disabled and non-disabled artists.
The project budget is a total of 64 million KRW, and up to 10 million KRW per organization will be supported based on the evaluation of the organization's project performance and project plan. Applications can be submitted by checking the announcement on the city’s website and the local subsidy management system 'Botaem-e', then submitting the application form and related documents. The city will finalize the support recipients in early May after document screening, evaluation by private experts, and review by the Pyeongtaek City Local Subsidy Management Committee.

Im Sang-seong, Director of the Culture and Arts Division of Pyeongtaek City, said, "We will continue to expand the project to support cultural and artistic activities for the disabled so that they are not excluded from culture and arts."
