Professor Yoon Seung-min of the Department of Japanese Studies at Dong-Eui University was recently inaugurated as the 15th president of the Korean Association for Japanese Culture. His term is two years, from March 1, 2024, to February 28, 2026.
President Yoon Seung-min expressed his determination, stating, “At a time when various changes are expected around universities, I will take bold and proactive measures to solidify the status of the representative academic society related to Japanese studies and make the association an enjoyable and beneficial platform for academic exchange.”

The Korean Association for Japanese Culture was founded in 1996 with the purpose of revitalizing research and academic development in fields related to Japan, including Japanese linguistics, Japanese language education, and Japanese literature and culture. It holds annual joint academic conferences and international academic conferences, and publishes the ‘Journal of Japanese Culture,’ a KCI-registered journal by the Korea Research Foundation, four times a year.
