KIST and Gangwon-do Sign MOU for Bio-specialized Complex Development and Technology Exchange
The Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST, President Yoon Seok-jin) announced on the 6th that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Gangwon Province (Governor Kim Jin-tae) at the Gangwon Provincial Office in Chuncheon, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province, to establish the Gangwon Bio National Advanced Strategic Industry Specialized Complex and promote technology exchange.

President Yoon Seok-jin stated, "Since November last year, KIST and Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province have been jointly carrying out a full-cycle standardization project for natural product materials," adding, "Based on the partnership between the two organizations, we will strive to make Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province a hub for the domestic advanced bio industry."
