Advocating Efficient Operational Strategies
Oh Young-sun, a member of the Nam-gu Council in Gwangju Metropolitan City, advocated for integrated management as an efficient operation plan for the Nam-gu Life Culture Center.
According to the Nam-gu Council on the 5th, Councilor Oh stated in a 5-minute free speech during the 1st plenary session of the 300th extraordinary meeting, "The Nam-gu Life Culture Center is currently struggling to provide high-quality cultural services to citizens due to a lack of project funds."
She continued, "If the Nam-gu Life Culture Centers are managed under an integrated system, the number of center director positions can be reduced, thereby saving on labor costs," adding, "Through this, better living wages can be paid to team leaders and managers, achieving employment stabilization."
She also emphasized, "The saved labor costs are expected to be directly reinvested into increasing project funds to manage the centers, allowing residents to access diverse and high-quality cultural services."
