Public Officials' 'Nadawoom' Breathes 'Saeroum' into Boseong County

Boseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 29th that it has formed and is operating the "3rd Innovation Research Club," where public officials with diverse backgrounds gather to engage in various exploratory activities.

On January 6, Boseong-gun organized five innovation research clubs (6 to 8 members per club) consisting of 35 public officials at grade 6 and below.

The "3rd Innovation Research Club" plans to autonomously conduct research projects applicable to the development of county administration over eight months until September this year, and to effectively carry out discussions, benchmarking visits to advanced sites, and workshops.

In particular, the clubs have been creatively named Chikchikpokpok, Boseong Da~issho (show), Boseong Agile, Trend Boseong 2024, and Ilbojeonjin, adding excitement and expectations for their research activities.

The main research topics include revitalizing employee welfare, activating clubs, creating a safe Boseong, realizing carbon neutrality within the organization, reducing generational differences in thinking, fostering a healthy workplace culture, and making festivals more vibrant.

Each innovation club will share the results and various ideas gained from their research projects at the performance presentation in September.

Kim Cheol-woo, the governor of Boseong-gun, said, "We promise to provide wholehearted support for the clubs' research activities so that unique ideas can emerge," and added, "I hope all public officials become a new driving force for innovation in county administration."

Meanwhile, since 2022, Boseong-gun has been forming innovation groups to proactively respond to the rapidly changing administrative environment. This innovation research club activity will culminate in awarding outstanding teams and giving prizes at the end of the year through evaluations and performance reports.
