Kim Jin-ho Appointed as the 25th Director of Chosun University Hospital
Chosun University Hospital announced on the 4th that Professor Jin-ho Kim from the Department of Neurology has been appointed as the 25th hospital director.
The term is two years. The newly appointed Director Jin-ho Kim is a neurologist who graduated from Chosun University College of Medicine and has held key positions at Chosun University Hospital, including head of the Neurology Department, director of the Planning Office, and deputy director.
He has been recognized for his research achievements, having published numerous excellent papers in basic research on the occurrence and progression of Parkinson's disease, and is actively engaged in academic activities at the Korean Neurological Association, the Korean Stroke Society, and the Korean Society of Clinical Neurophysiology.
Director Jin-ho Kim said, “I feel a heavy responsibility as I take office during a difficult time for the medical community overall. I will work closely with faculty and staff to strengthen our foundation and, through the long-awaited hospital reconstruction project, provide state-of-the-art medical facilities and professional medical services to local residents, doing my best to fulfill the role of a central medical institution in the region.”
Meanwhile, Professor Sung-ho Yoon from the Department of Pulmonology, who previously served as director of the Planning Office and head of the Education and Research Department at Chosun University Hospital, was appointed as deputy director.

Additionally, Professor Ji-yoon Choi from the Department of Otorhinolaryngology was appointed as director of the Planning Office, Professor Dong-hwi Kim from the Department of Orthopedics as director of Medical Services, Professor Sang-gon Park from the Department of Hematology-Oncology as head of the Education and Research Department, Professor Yoo-seok Kim from the Department of Surgery as director of External Cooperation, and Professor Ran Hong from the Department of Pathology as director of Medical Quality Management.
