Kyungbok University Selected for the Ministry of Employment and Labor's 'University Job Plus Center Project'
Kyungbok University was selected for the ‘2024 University Job Plus Center Project’ hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and recently signed a business agreement with the Uijeongbu Employment Center.
The University Job Plus Center Project is a program that provides systematic employment support services in collaboration with local governments and related organizations through comprehensive services such as career and employment support, job discovery, and integrated counseling for current students, graduates, and local youth.
From this year until February 2029, Kyungbok University will receive an annual budget of 300 million KRW, totaling 1.8 billion KRW, to integrate various employment support infrastructures and service delivery systems within the university, offering professional counseling, self-introduction letter, and interview consulting for employment support.
Additionally, it will provide youth work experience services utilizing the university-business network, promote and guide youth employment policies, and also play a role in supporting participation.
The Kyungbok University Job Plus Center was selected for the University Job Center Project in 2018, received the highest rating in the 2019 annual evaluation, and achieved outstanding results such as receiving the Presidential Citation for Job Creation from the Ministry of Employment and Labor.

Seong Gi-hyeok, head of the Kyungbok University Job Plus Center, stated, "Over the past five years, the Kyungbok University Job Plus Center has operated employment support programs and built various experiences and infrastructures.
