CJ Olive Young announced on the 29th that it will hold its first large-scale regular sale of the year. From March 1 to 7, for one week, selected representative beauty & health product categories targeting the spring season will be offered at discounts of up to 70%.
‘Olive Young Sale’ is Olive Young’s large-scale shopping festival held four times a year at the start of each season. The sale will be conducted through all channels including over 1,300 stores nationwide, the mobile application (app), instant delivery and pickup services, and live commerce.
The concept of this event is ‘BIG SALE, BIG FAN, BIG LOVE.’ Approximately 800 brands and over 10,000 products will participate in this sale, offering overwhelmingly large shopping benefits.
From color cosmetics for spring makeup to various functional basic skincare products needed for seasonal skin care, items will be offered at discounts of up to 70%. Promising new products and new brands that will lead future beauty & health trends can also be found in a variety of selections.
A ‘first-come, first-served special price’ event will also be held, where popular products can be purchased at high discount rates such as 99% off or for just 100 won. This event will take place three times during the sale period, with one event product available each day for 100 won on a first-come, first-served basis. In nationwide stores, customers who purchase over 10,000 won can participate from store opening until stock runs out, while on the online mall and mobile app, purchases can be made from 10 a.m. without a minimum purchase amount restriction.
Other promotions include ‘Today’s Special Price,’ where different special price products are sold daily at additional discounts, and ‘100 Special Prices,’ where 100 specially selected products for the season are sold at high discount rates. A ‘New Product Special Price’ event is also prepared to introduce noteworthy new products and new brands.
As awareness of the event grows, the actual sales volume during the sale period is also increasing. Last year’s sales were estimated to have increased by about 42% compared to the previous year. The cumulative number of payment transactions during the same period (combined online and offline) reached 24.95 million, and the cumulative number of visiting members reached 6 million.
