Pawnt Signs MOU with Hana Bank for Retirement Pension Robo-Advisor Service
Fount, a specialized robo-advisor company, announced on the 28th that its subsidiary, Fount Investment Advisory, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Hana Bank to promote retirement pension services utilizing robo-advisors.
Under this agreement, both companies will focus their core competencies on technology development and service provision based on robo-advisors across all aspects of retirement pensions, including discretionary investment services for Hana Bank customers.
Last year, following the government’s push for a regulatory sandbox exemption for robo-advisor discretionary investment services in retirement pensions, Fount has been dedicating company-wide efforts to prepare operations, including developing a retirement pension-specific algorithm specialized for discretionary management.
Fount and Hana Bank plan to actively collaborate on technology and service development to target the growing retirement pension market and provide investors with convenient and stable retirement pension management.
Robo-advisors are particularly strong in long-term investment and loss prevention, making them advantageous for managing and operating retirement pensions to prepare for old age. As an online asset management service that recommends and manages financial product portfolios based on algorithms and big data, it offers the benefits of low fees and customized services without constraints of time and place.
Fount’s strategy is to showcase differentiated services by consolidating advisory and management know-how accumulated through collaboration with the financial sector, ranging from fund portfolio recommendations tailored to investment preferences to management, rebalancing, and expert financial content for aftercare.
