LetsRun Park Busan-Gyeongnam Announces March Horse Racing Schedule
70 Pukyung Races, 36 Seoul and Jeju Broadcasts
Korea Racing Authority LetsRun Park Busan-Gyeongnam (Head Eom Young-seok) announced the horse racing schedule for March.
In March, a total of 70 races will be held over 10 days across 5 weeks at the Busan-Gyeongnam venue. Every Friday, 8 races will be held at Busan-Gyeongnam and 8 relay races from Jeju will be broadcasted.
On Saturdays, 11 races from Seoul and 6 races from Jeju will be broadcasted, while on Sundays, 11 relay races from Seoul and 6 races held at Busan-Gyeongnam will take place. Among the 70 races held at Busan-Gyeongnam, 52 are for domestic horses. 16 races are mixed races featuring both domestic and foreign horses, and 2 races are graded stakes races.
The first race on Friday, held in Jeju, starts at 11:00 AM, and the first race on Saturday and Sunday, held in Seoul, starts at 10:35 AM. The last race on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday all start at 6:00 PM.
With the arrival of warm spring in March, the racing park becomes busy preparing for series races. Currently, Korean horse racing has 8 series races to select the top horses by conditions, and 4 of these series begin in March.
Starting on March 10 at LetsRun Park Busan-Gyeongnam, the first race of the Sprinter Series, the ‘Busan Ilbo Cup,’ will be held, followed by the first race of the Triple Tiara Series, the ‘Luna Stakes,’ on March 31. At LetsRun Park Seoul, the first race of the Stayer Series, the ‘Herald Economy Cup,’ is scheduled for March 17, and the first race of the Queens Tour Spring-Summer Series, the ‘Dong-A Ilbo Cup,’ is scheduled for March 24.

Maljukgeori Market is a permanent flea market held every Sunday, supporting local small businesses while providing various attractions for visitors.
